About Us

Integrated Business Solutions (IBS) is an Information Technology consulting firm that specializes in building and implementing integrated technology systems based on business need. IBS was founded in 2001 by Ben Ferris, and since then we have successfully helped customers across a variety of industries.  Projects have included custom web application development, reporting system development, database development, business intelligence, dashboards, data warehousing, electronic forms/workflows, data migrations and system integrations.

Along the way we have gained expertise in the project controls business needs for managing and reporting on construction projects.  We have expert-level knowledge of the project controls methodologies and tools (especially Primavera products). Our areas of construction project controls expertise include Estimating, Forecasting, Scheduling, Cost Management, Earned Value Management, Contract Management and Document Management.

We often work on projects in partnership with large Architecture/Engineering (A/E) firms in state and local government projects, including transit agencies, DOT, school districts, and airports.
